Caleb (500 x 500 px).png

Caleb Harvey

Founder & Scientist

Caleb's direction was set at an early age, growing up witnessing his mother struggle with chronic illness. Later in college a motorcycle accident, ICU visit and subsequent traumatic brain injury left him unable to read. Despite undergoing extensive rehab therapy and continuing premed collegiate coursework, he went on to graduate in 5 years. After undergrad he worked as a 911 paramedic provider in and out of the hospital setting learning the US medical system.

These formative experiences led him to want better medicine for humanity. Transitioning to working in a clinical space startup and entering graduate school, he encountered a recurring problem and designed a solution, the flagship therapy rNavex. He currently continues working to create and develop systemic cures for the individual. Tyler Goralski PhD

Scientific Advisor

Dr. Tyler Goralski began his tenure at DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center in 2012 as a research technician in the Biosciences Division. Shortly thereafter, he went on to pursue his Ph.D. as a Department of Defense SMART scholar. He received his Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology, where he focused on the characterization and optimization of a unique group of antibiotics that specifically inhibit a novel and essential bacterial pathway known as ribosome rescue in the biothreat agent Francisella tularensis. He subsequently identified and characterized a backup rescue pathway in F. tularensis known as ArfT, which functions to resolve non-stop complexes when trans-translation is inactive.

Upon completion of his doctoral work, Dr. Goralski returned to DEVCOM CBC to support the Threat Agent Science Division and developed several in vitro assay systems used to predict the toxicological effects of agents of concern. His focus was on the development and implementation of human organ-on-a-chip technologies to characterize the toxicity of chemical and biological threat agents via global multi-omics analysis.

Currently, Dr. Goralski serves as the Chief of the Molecular Toxicology Branch. The team deploys a battery of toxicological-based tools to characterize emerging threats, to include functional organ chip models, cell receptor-based screens, electrophysiology, neurotoxicity models, zebrafish, histology, and bioprinting. In his spare time, Dr. Goralski lectures for the Johns Hopkins Biotechnology Master’s Program; teaching courses in infectious disease, molecular biology, and advanced cell biology.
